Monday 10/8 (A)
In class, we will catch up on the Columbian Exchange notes and any research or printing needs. Then we will conduct a gallery walk and take notes. If there is time, we will play a Jeopardy! review game.
Homework is to complete and turn in the Info Card and Current Events assignments.
Tuesday 10/9 (B) & Wednesday 10/10 (A)
In class, we will complete our gallery walk and play a Jeopardy! review game.
Homework is to study for the exam. A day exam will be Friday, 10/12. B day exam will be Thursday, 10/11.
Thursday 10/11 (B) & Friday 10/12 (B)
In class, we will take our Q1 post test. There will be a brief study period before and a brief work period after the exam.
Homework is to turn in all Q1 work by 3:35pm on Friday, October 12th.

In class, we will complete our notes on Explorers and complete a graphic organizer. We will also be assigned topics for the 1 page information card research project.
Homework is to begin research on your assigned topic (notes from at least one source due Tuesday) and to return your signed Acceptable Use Policy form (permission to use computers in school) and pay attention to the news.
Tuesday 10/2 (A) & Wednesday, 10/3 (B)
In class, we will have a research day. Please bring your cell phones or tablets (if you have them). If you are not able to get online, the entire project can be done using the American Nation textbook. Your goal is to have notes from 2 or more sources by the end of the class period.
Homework is to complete your information card. For A day students, they are due Friday. For B day students, they are due Monday.

In class, we will read from the textbook (American Journey pgs. 4-11) and take notes on exploration.
